Anti-Wrinkle Injections

Fine lines and wrinkles, resulting from the natural movement of facial muscles over time, can be effectively addressed through the use of Botulinum Toxin A.

This injectable medication is employed to selectively relax specific muscles, diminishing the visibility of existing lines and wrinkles while also slowing down the formation of new ones. Noticeable results typically manifest within 10-14 days.

Beyond its cosmetic applications, Botulinum Toxin A can also be used to address issues such as teeth grinding, jaw clenching, jawline slimming, and excessive sweating in the armpit area.

Dermal Filler

At Sutton Medical Aesthetics, we employ premium reversible dermal fillers known for their exceptional quality. These fillers serve to contour and sculpt the face, elevating and enhancing your natural features.

Our chosen fillers consist of cross-linked Hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring and biodegradable component found in the skin. This gel-like substance effectively restores volume to the face, smoothing out static lines for a more rejuvenated appearance.

The longevity of results varies between 6 to 18 months, dependent on the treated area. To ensure a comfortable procedure, a skin numbing cream is applied before treatment.

The adaptability of dermal fillers allows for customized enhancements, providing a personalized and refreshed look in one or multiple areas. Sutton Medical Aesthetics strategically utilizes a range of filler densities to achieve the desired effect, ensuring precision and optimal outcomes.

Profhilo

Profhilo is the first of its kind: a revolutionary hyaluronic acid moisturizing treatment administered beneath the skin. Using patented NAHYCO technology, this unique injectable gel stimulates dermal cells for a prolonged period. It promotes collagen and elastin production while attracting water to the deeper layers of the skin. Additionally, Profhilo activates skin cell receptors to combat skin laxity, improving and restoring firmness. This treatment remodels aging and sagging skin, providing hydration and a boost to the skin's structure by supporting collagen and elastin.

Profhilo can be used on the face and neck area. We normally recommend 2-3 treatments 4 weeks apart. We use skin-numbing cream prior to this treatment.

Sunekos

Sunekos Performa and Sunekos 1200 are injectable treatments made from hyaluronic acid and a patented cluster of amino acids. This cutting-edge technology stimulates fibroblasts to produce collagen and elastin, both of which diminish with aging and sun damage. Sunekos Performa and 1200 generate all major types of collagen fibers in the dermis, especially types IV and VII, which are crucial for rebuilding the extracellular matrix and reducing the signs of aging.

Sunekos Performa is designed for the eye area but can be used on the entire face. It contains low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, suitable for the delicate skin around the eyes. It can help reduce dark circles and pigmentation.

Sunekos 1200, on the other hand, contains medium to high-density hyaluronic acid, which enhances hydration by attracting water. Essentially, it acts as an injectable moisturizer, delivering hydration directly to the deeper layers of the skin, effectively treating dehydrated skin. The amino acids act as free radical scavengers counteracting oxidative stress. The combination of hyaluronic acid and amino acids in both Sunekos Performa and 1200 address signs of aging such as skin laxity, wrinkles, and sun damage.

Sunekos can be used on the face, neck  and upper chest area. We recommend a minimum of 2 treatments spaced 2- 4 weeks apart, with ongoing maintenance treatment as needed. This is great in combination with other aesthetic treatments.

Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides are one of the latest revolutionary tools in skin regenerative medicine. They are highly purified fragments of DNA from salmon or trout, suspended in water, which are essentially building blocks for cellular repair.

Working at a cellular level they stimulate fibroblasts, encouraging cell turnover, boosting collagen production and improving skin hydration.

They work as antioxidants, scavenging free radicals that would normally set off cell damage. They can also reduce inflammation and help to improve skin tone by helping to rebalance melanocyte activity. The Plinest range consists of polymerised polynucleotide-based injectable gels that can be used anywhere on the face (Plinest), around the eye area (Plinest Eyes) and other areas of the body such as the neck and decolletage. They help to target fine lines, dark under eye areas, skin laxity, scarring from conditions such as acne and poor skin tone and texture.

Two treatments two to four weeks apart are usually recommended. As these treatments work at a cellular level, it may take from 2-3 weeks and up to three months to see the full effects. To maintain the effects, one treatment every six to nine months is recommended.

FAQs

  • What is Dermal Filler
Dermal fillers are a type of cosmetic injectable used to add volume, smooth lines and wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. They are commonly used in non-surgical cosmetic procedures to achieve a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance. Dermal fillers are injected beneath the skin's surface to fill in or plump up areas that have lost volume due to aging or other factors. The most common substance used in dermal fillers is hyaluronic acid, a natural substance found in the body that helps maintain skin hydration and volume. Other types of dermal fillers may use substances like calcium hydroxylapatite or poly-L-lactic acid.
  • Does it hurt to have Dermal Fillers
The level of discomfort experienced during dermal filler injections can vary from person to person. The procedure typically involves the use of a fine needle or cannula to inject the filler beneath the skin's surface. While many dermal fillers contain a local anesthetic (such as lidocaine) to help minimize pain, some individuals may still feel mild to moderate discomfort during the process. At Sutton Medical, we apply numbing cream prior to the procedure to make reduce the level of discomfort.
  • How long do Dermal Fillers last?
The duration of results from dermal fillers can vary depending on several factors, including the type of filler used, the treated area, individual metabolism, and lifestyle factors. In general, the effects of dermal fillers are temporary, and follow-up treatments are usually needed to maintain the desired results. Here are some general guidelines for the duration of common types of dermal fillers: At Sutton medical Aesthetics we use dermal fillers containing Hyaluronic acid. They typically last between 6 months to 2 years, depending on the specific product used and the area treated. Lip fillers may be expected to have a shorter duration compared to fillers used in other facial areas. It's important to note that individual experiences can vary, and the longevity of results depends on factors such as the rate at which the body metabolizes the filler, the amount injected, and the specific characteristics of the treated area. Additionally, lifestyle factors such as sun exposure, smoking, and overall skin care can influence how long the results of dermal fillers last. Regular maintenance treatments may be recommended to sustain the effects over time. Consulting with a qualified and experienced healthcare professional will help determine the most appropriate dermal filler for your specific needs and expectations.
